Besma Al-Qassar had started her career in 1997 with Kuwait Radio before moving to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation in 1998 where her last post was Media Relations Supervisor. She moved into the private sector in 2007 when she founded her own copywriting and translation agency delivering corporate communications services for various businesses and sectors locally and internationally. In 2009, she joined Gulf Bank as Branding Manager. Her last post was Corporate Communications Manager for Kuwait Energy responsible for Communications, CSR and Events Management. She has gained extensive experience managing corporate events and forums.
Besma is currently providing corporate consultancy work and conducting corporate workshops.
Besma is also an ILM certified trainer and an ILM trained coach. With this experience, she voluntarily designed and delivered the first professionally structured Internship Induction program for LOYAC in 2013.
She is now excited about establishing and managing her new initiative, the Women Mentor Forum. Her aim is to see more women entrepreneurs and more women executive in Kuwait’s private sector.
Besma holds a BA in English Literature from Kuwait University.
